Posted 12 October 2011 Wild Goose Qigong Centre Calendar October 2011 to June 2012 Kunlun Twining Hands Bagua Qigong Seminar Saturday & Sunday 12 & 13 November 2011 : 12noon~4pm The Rivendell Yurt, 5215 Bills Road, Duncan Taught by Lee Masters $135 In Chinese medicine, the liver relates to the emotion of anger. This short form helps to release any stagnant liver Qi. Special movements stimulate the liver, getting rid of anger and improving blood circulation in the body and also improving our eyesight. For ladies particularly, the liver is a very important organ. Its normal function will maintain good health and will help balance the emotions. ‘Bagua’ relates to the number eight and in this form, we walk in eight different directions, improving body balance and internal Qi.

Bring friends and family. 2 Polishing Seminar Days at the Rivendell Yurt in Duncan Chun Yuen Polishing Saturday 18 February 2012 : 12noon: 4pm : $70 Qigong Polishing Sunday 19 February 2012 : 12noon~4pm : $70 Little by little our movements morph as we practise and it is important to come together and clarify our exercises and forms to make sure we are getting the most benefit from them. This is always a good time for those who have missed classes to come back into the supportive energy of the group. As we improve ourselves, we open up to deeper health and accessing more or our human potential. 3 Seminars with Master Michael Tse In May 2012, we are very fortunate to have Master Michael Tse of the Tse Qigong Centre coming from England to help us to further develop our skill. His visits are always packed full of knowledge, stories, energy and wisdom. 13 Grab Stick Seminar Parts I and II Wednesday, Thursday & Monday 23, 24 & 28 May 2012 : 6pm~9pm Glenora Hall, Duncan This is a form which can help develop how to use a short stick for defending oneself against attack. In practical use, a short stick could be substituted for an umbrella or even a walking stick. Using principles from traditional martial arts skills in the Chun Yuen tradition, this form is also good for improving circulation. There is no need for any previous martial art experience and is open to all. 13 Grab Stick is a fun and useful form to practise and learn, helping to keep tendons, arm and finger joints supple. Newcomers will learn Part I andthose who completed Part I in 2011 will learn Part II. Qigong Healing and Diagnosis Friday 25 May 2012 : 6pm ~ 9pm Mercury Theatre 331 Brae Road, Duncan This Qigong Healing skill has been developed by Master Michael Tse, using techniques he learned from his uncle, who was a traditional bone setter, as well as those from the Kunlun Dayan Qigong system and is what he uses for his own patients. In this introduction, you will learn some basic knowledge about diagnosis, massage and even some basic Qi transmission skill. Last year we very much enjoyed Sifu Jessica Tse’s Qigong Healing course and this will be a further deepening open to all. Part I gently loosens the lower back, knees and waist and Part II is more dynamic and makes the Qi in the body stronger and improves circulation and mobility in all the joints Newcomers will learn Part I and those who completed Part I in 2011 will learn Part II.
